Forgot to answer Star about Pocket. He does sound like a very sweet baby! I've always heard there are some breeds, like rag dolls, that typically are very affectionate. I outgrew most allergies but in my teens I was still allergic to Siamese cats. In my twenties I visited a home with a black cat a few times and I was still struggling with cat allergies. I'm not sure whether any of that lingers.
