It is inevitable with a membership so large, that serious illness and loss will affect our membership at some point. Unfortunately, given the online venue, there have been several circumstances where people have lied about being seriously ill, and even faked death. While we certainly want to support our members in every way possible, we feel that we need to find a balance between support for those who may be ill, and protection of our membership from those who may not be honest.
In order to keep everyone safe, and support those who need it, we do require verification of serious and possibly terminal illness before anyone posts about it on the forum.
