    Camping

Just wanted to pop in for a quick sec and say 'hi' before I disappear for a few days. I have 2 test in the morning for school and then we are packing the truck and heading out early Wed morning to camp for a few nights. Depending how quickly I get everything done tomorrow I may get a chance to pop in, but just in case thought I'd pop in for a quick 'hi'. Hopefully I will be back with fun stories

I'm laughing at this emoji right now because the audio books we are listening to right now are about dragons, long drive = lots of book time.

Have a great couple of days everyone.

Just finished my last test. After major glitches with the online proctoring of the first test.

I will officially pass psychosocial nursing with a "B" (we get the grades for this class immediately).

Now I really have something to celebrate!!!

It was a whirlwind of a trip, but the weather was great and I/we had a lot of fun. Apparently being able to kayak into a cave that is normally underwater is boring if you are a tween boy, lol. I thought it was super cool though.

Left just after 4AM on Wed and made it where we were going super quick because said tween boy slept the whole time so I didn't have to stop for food and potty breaks, on the way home a 5 hour drive had 4 stops in it, lol.

We kayaked, did campfires, listened to almost an entire audio book. and even got in a little hike on the way home.

I made yellow rice for dinner straight on the charcoal of the fire pit the first night before finding out there was an outdoor kitchen, so J made us spaghetti for Thanksgiving dinner on a proper stove. Good stuff

Fabuloso! So glad to hear you guys had a good trip and a nice time!

I would've thought the cave was fascinating too, but there's no accounting for tween boys' interests. :D
